Description: It Takes Less Than 50 Seconds to Trash 450 Emails Full Tutorial: gthx.app/x4tqj Subscribe to Gadget Hacks: bit.ly/GadgetHacksSub Deleting emails in bulk in Apple Mail on an iPhone, especially during a search, is a pain in the ass. In iOS 11 and 12, it would take over 5 minutes to delete 450 emails: youtu.be/0d5usb1Jpt4 But iOS 13 fixes this issue. It's still not the best option we could want, but it makes it so that you can delete 450 emails in 6 to 7 times faster. You could use the "Select All" button in folders and mailboxes (not shown in this video) but for searches, you use a new gesture to select multiple messages at once. Tap "Edit," then slide your finger on the bubbles to select messages, then hit the "Trash" icon. You can see this in action in the video. But there's an even faster way — slide two finders down the list of emails to select them. You don't even have to hit "Edit" first!
